People have been arguing about this FOREVER and I thought I'd clear it up:
Yeah--yeah is just slang for yes and doesn't sound anything like "yea" or "yay". The h at the end of the word gives it the short a sound.
Yea--yea is the formal way of saying yes. Like in the Bible and The Book of Mormon it will say yea for yes and nay for no.
Yay--yay is a joyful exclamation. Yes, I think it should be a real word, even though a lot of people don't think so. (No it's not in the dictionary, so I guess it's not an official word. Work with me.)Anyway, yay is what you say when you're excited or happy. Like, "Yay, we're getting cookies!" You wouldn't say, "Yeah, we're getting cookies" or "Yea, we're getting cookies" because those are answers to someone's question. Yea is too formal for me, and I think yay just looks cuter anyway.
Hope this helps!
P.S. For those wondering, "ya" is text talk for "yeah", not a real word. :)

I got my ears pierced!!!
It's about time, eh?
My inspiration came from Lexi Puffer. My Mom asked me if I wanted to get my ears pierced while the boys went to the Father-Son camp out. I said I didn't want to because I didn't want it to hurt. (I'm being really honest here.) Mom told me to look at the Puffers' blog. Their newest post was when Lexi got her ears pierced. She said she was scared too, but that it didn't hurt that much. I kept saying, if a six-year-old can do it, so can I! So after a day and a half of worrying, it was finally over. It didn't hurt bad enough to cry. I felt pretty silly for worrying so much! :) I'll never forget that day.

The Car Wash
During the warm days this month Lauren and I decided to wash the gross 6-year-old Super Man slug-bug. We got out the bubbly wash bucket and the hose and washed until it shined! It was super-fun . . . and super-wet. :)
Gettin' out the hose and sprayin' her down . . .
. . . and scrubbin'
her clean!
Thanks for a fun time, Lauren! :)

Dr. Seuss on the Loose play
The Dr. Seuss on the Loose was a hit at the High-School auditorium. My class performed "The Lorax". I had a great time! I got to be in the same waiting room as Derek. His class performed "There's a Wocket in My Pocket". It was a wonderful experience for all who participated. Here's a video clip of my part:
