and she had $20 in her pocket

Went thrift-store shopping at Red White and Blue with a couple of friends this fine morning.

Guess who felt like a boss walking through that thrift shop with exactly twenty dollars?

"Thrift Shop" didn't come on in the car. But "Sharp Dressed Man" did, which is just as good.

These two beauties, $6.50 (50% off) and $4.

The yellow one matches with one that Lauren got at the same place three days ago.

We were like

I call the RWB bookshelf the magic bookshelf.*  Look what we found today.

And it's always great to go homecoming-dress shopping 8 months early.

Six. flippin. dolla. bills.
As in 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

We walked outta there like

My total: $20.27.

We came. We saw. We hunted. We popped tags. We conquered.
It was great.

*The Magic Bookshelf: When I was searching for the Harry Potter series in hardback, every time I went to RWB one of the ones that I needed would be there. Got all seven for 4 bucks or less. Cha-ching, cha-ching.

  1. Hmm, apparently I will need to go to RWB to work on completing the MRA library's collection of Harry Potter books, as we don't yet have a complete set. It's not far from my house, but I've only been there once. I'll have to go again, I guess!
    Stay classy, Nicole!
