one...two...three...RAINBOW!

My friends, Kaity, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Linden, and Raelene and I are writing and illustrating a book for the Kids Are Authors contest. We just finished the story, and today we all got together at school and did our photo shoot! (Thanks Mrs. Nilsen for taking the pictures!) At least if we don't win the competition, we made lots of fun memories. :)

  1. You all look gorgeous! I love those pictures. Nicole, I think we need to all get together and do a big friend photo shoot sometime before the school year ends. We need to make all the memories we've made last!!

    1. Oh, my gosh, I totally agree about the friend photoshoot. I was just thinking about that too! We'd have to have some sort of theme for the outfits. I'm getting excited already!

    1. Aww, thank you...I think my favorite one is the one on the monkey bars, but then I also like the one in the tree. I like them all! (And thanks, we'll take all the luck we can get for the contest!)

  3. These are amazing! You should totally win, if not for the story, for the pictures. And even if you don't, it's better having friends than a first-place trophy!!!! (Taken from a motto I used to have ... in kindergarten ...)

    1. Thanks, Patricia! My teacher, Mrs. Nilsen took them! We got to take the pics during school hours so we all were getting kind of hyper especially since we were in normal clothes and not our school uniforms. :P

And I totally agree, friends are much more important than winning! :) (I'm always up for kindergarten philosophy, it's a lot better than the junk teens are getting lately.)

      Thanks for the comment!

  4. I loved helping! This photo shoot is one of my highlights from this year! I just stumbled onto your blog. I'd heard from a few of the teachers that you had one. I'm impressed with your blogging savy, creativity, and all that is "simply Nicole."

Enjoy the beautiful snow day! Prepare yourself for our Read-a-thon tomorrow!
